YouTube Analytics Video Tutorial by PLEASE LIKE VIDEO IF IT HELPED YOU. A YouTube video tutorial showing you the power of YouTube Analytics. This is really some great stuff when it comes to understanding what’s going on with your videos, what’s going on if you’re getting views, engagement, if you’re gaining subscribers, losing subscribers, what your most popular videos are and whatnot.
This is one of my other YouTube channels, VisionaryTV. Something that I built a while back, you can see it’s done decent. I have over 1,000 subscribers and 112,000 views and it still gets views every day. We’re going to show you how to actually go take a look at what’s happening on the channel. Let’s go ahead and scroll up to the top, once you’re logged in to your YouTube account, through your Gmail account or your Google account—whatever is associated with your YouTube account. Just hit this dropdown right here. We’re going to scroll down to Video Manager. I’m just going to get rid of some of these warnings or notifications.
We can see that we’re in the back office of my YouTube channel and I get to see all my videos. What we want to do is scroll to the top right here, to Analytics and hit Analytics. What we get to see in Analytics is just phenomenal. Mind you, this is a channel that I have not even paid much attention to at all for the past couple years and it’s still performing very well. How do I know that? It’s still getting 2,900 views in the last 30 days, as you can see in this time range. You can also see that I’ve lost 27 subscribers over the last 30 days, whatever that was for. That catches my attention and maybe I want to go back and take a look and see if I could figure out how to reverse that number.
You get to see Engagement so we see six likes, one dislike, six comments, zero shares, twelve favorites added, one favorites removed. So, good to know. I can see the engagement right there. We also get to see the Top 10 videos right here and basically, you have your iMovie Tutorial, this one is my dominant video. It always has been, on this channel. It got 1,800, 1,900 views and five likes and two comments just in the last 30 days. It’s really good stuff to take a look at and you can see exactly how your videos are performing.
So let’s take a look a little bit deeper. We can go into Views and you can go into individual stuff and just see specific, for Video. You can go to Geography. You can see Date, when it was viewed. February 14 was 124 views. We can see this little graph here. You can do a Map up here. There is a lot of different stuff that you can check out here. Demographics. Very cool. I love this stuff. This is all analytics. I can see 67% Male, 32% Female. That’s big right there. That’s important for me to know. Playback locations. This is the YouTube page. Most of my views are happening there. You can see I have 246 views on Mobile devices in the last 30 days. 60 views from Embedded player on other websites. That means people are actually putting my videos on their website. And five views from my YouTube channel.
Traffic sources. Where are they coming from? Google search, YouTube search, YouTube suggested video, Mobile apps, External website… This is some great information, guys. And YouTube just gives this to you. Audience retention– nothing there. You’ve got an engagement report so we can see subscribers, likes, dislikes. You can see I’ve lost net 27 so I’ve gained seven and lost 34 on this channel. You can see likes and dislikes for videos, what’s going on and what’s getting most likes and dislikes, what’s getting favorite the most, in terms of which videos, comments. In terms of which videos, you can go down specifically and learn about those videos, what people are saying and which videos people are sharing. That’s pretty much it. You can change the date range up here as well.
This is very, very important information for you to take a look at when you’re looking at your business performance on YouTube. The last thing that you can do, maybe on a weekly, monthly or routine basis, download your reports and go over them and just understand what’s actually happening here on YouTube. So that is how you can check out YouTube Analytics and understand exactly how your YouTube videos and channel are performing. Have a great day.

This company is awful, they plagiarized my new website and I and another company was sued, they ripped me off money and got me NO leads, they have changed their name numerous times due to their dishonesty, inflated my invoice and thought I would not see. They pretend they created a CRM and it is really gohighlevel. Research before you get involved, it has taken me almost a year to fix everything they have messed up.
Nice video 👍

Great video. Thanks for sharing.
what does the "Last 30 days" mean? does it mean that's only how long your video will last? can you change that cause everytime I try to it goes back to 30 days and I want my videos to last a lifetime
Stop it with all the spam bullshit on here. To be able to make cash you need to find evidence of commissions. I haven’t observed that anywhere excluding the Zutore Cash System page (Google it!) Am I a millionaire? No. Nevertheless I have quit my job to test this website marketing thing.
one of my videos has 953 views, but it shows 0 on analytics!?!
what happens if you cant find the subscriber thing on your channel?
WAIT WHAT? OVER 9000?!!!!!!
Any idea why Analytics shows only 179 views for my Epic Cheat Meal video, but it actually has over 9000 views… it's been getting crazy views since I uploaded it, and was over 1000 within a couple of weeks, so it should have caught up by now. Any idea?
Hey two of my videos stopped getting views at 300.Do you know why?
I have the same problem to.I want to know if i can fix it.
So does that mean the count in the Analytics is right, not the count on the video page?
When you figure this out, let me know! I have the same question!…more likes on my video showing in my analytics while it shows less when you go to view the video.
Hey, can you tell me why youtube analytics tells me one of my videos has 24 likes but the video page only shows 5 likes??
Hey, just wondering if you can tell me something about the geographic location. If it is viewed on a mobile device from someone who lives in Los Angelos and is on vacation in New York will the the location be La or Ny?
