If you want to change your YouTube channel’s name or URL, here’s a tutorial that will walk you through the process of updating your channel’s name and how to set a custom URL for your YouTube channel if you still haven’t set one yet. However, if you already have a custom URL for your channel, you unfortunately cannot change it, so instead I give a couple ideas for how to re-brand your channel so your old channel URL has a minimal impact on your channel’s branding.

My channel name seems to be too specific, so I'm thinking of changing it. Are there any negatives to changing your channel name? I do craft videos and with my channel name as it is, I'm afraid I'm locked into doing only mason jars since mason is in my channel name. I find that I love doing other crafts as well, so I want my channel name to be a little more general and not mention mason jars at all. Are there any risks in changing the name of your channel? I've worked really hard over the last few months, but the views are not coming in. I suspect I'm confusing Youtube with a name that includes mason, but I'm doing more than just mason jars. Any advise?

The name of my YouTube channel is Babastar Technical. But the other name is showing hindi to english. When we keep our YouTube in Hindi language, it is showing the correct name.But as soon as I am changing the language of YouTube to English. Then it is showing hindi to english again. I need to change my channel name, but I won't be changing the theme, content, nor eliminate any uploads. Will I lose my current view counts or will it affect advertising dollars?
