The Defence Ministry has established a five-member panel, headed by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, to address delays in the production and induction of LCA Mk1A fighter jets. The committee has a one-month deadline to submit its report. This initiative comes as the Indian Air Force faces concerns over declining operational fighter squadrons. The panel will explore involving private companies to expedite aircraft manufacturing and deliveries. #lcafighterjet #indianairforce #defenceministry #itwebvideos #hal #lcamk1a #fightersquadrons #aircraftmanufacturing #operationalstrength #northernborders #westernfront #china #nec #defenceproduction #militarymodernisation

btw it is not just mk1a, govt needs to make panels and prioritize MK2 AMCA Development.
I remember when the first Tejas was induced in 2015, they said that they will produce over 200 Tejas in five years to satisfy the IAF requirement. We are in 2025 now, India has in total just 40 Tejas and only halve of them are "combat" ready.
Ah yes. More panels, more committees, more bureaucracy is what the Air Force needs right now to get Tejas 😅
Rather than firing the PSU uncles who do nothing, why go around in circles
