colossis AI fixes this (AI Virtual Staging). Designer-approved tips for bedroom.
In the era of environmental consciousness, many things are synthetic, patina these days could mean Chrome flaking off plastic fittings, pvc cracks on vegan leather, discolouration on bonded wood floor, etc just my 2c
Something new for me was breaking symmetry. The idea of bedding spilling over but have cleaner/tighter drapes. This got me thinking
A couple of weeks ago you asked us about what content we would like to see. I asked for bedroom design. Thank you so much for this video! I liked your suggestions on bedding and layering and limitting pillows. I also liked the tip about art.
Great suggestions Nina. Thank you. Have a good week
.
Absolutely a favorite video! Well done Nina
Why bedroom should look EXPENSIVE? Are you selling it and want to get best possible price?
I would think that a place should NOT LOOK, but TO BE BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT, STYLISH etc.
You explain everything with such detail,
it! p.s. the small artwork…….. that is an Indian lady.
How can you have an elegant modern room when your kingsize bed is a dark wood, 4-poster with a curved headboard ? My room is 18×18 w dark wood floor, a full size cream rug and a light grey sectional in front of the bed. Side tables are also darkwood round ‘sofa end tables’. Its the large headboard that is throwing me off. I would have loved an oversized art or maybe molding?
Thank u for the video! I have a primary room that is a neutral canvas – warm cream walls, oatmeal carpeting. Question, does the wood tone of headboard need to match the nightstands? I have an espresso headboard but would like to "lighten" the vibe by using lighter "taupe" wood with be black hardware . I prefer a transitional style
The lady must be Indian, because she has got the dot in the middle of her forehead and the veil must be part of her saree
Her earnings are also from Indian crafted jewelleries
Luv the layering idea. Please do more of this kind of video thks
I don’t understand why people don’t subscribe. It doesnt cost a thing people!
In one of your other videos you mentioned choosing quartzite countertops if unable to choose high end and I have to tell you Nina, I probably would never have chosen the Taj Mahal (Perla Venatta) slab had I not watched your video. I paired them with white cabinets and the look is absolutely stunning! I waited nearly 15 years to remodel. The old kitchen was styled from the 90s with cherry cabinets and stained, unsealed dark granite. What a transformation! Thank you so very much for your tips! I am learning a lot from every video.
Gosh Nina, I just
your videos. You have such great content I loved all of the topics. Thank you for all the great complimentary design tips.
Yeah I can't stand the too-perfect furniture, with no dynamics or interesting features, it just doesn't sit right with me and I'm not even an interior designer.
Where did you get the cute candle on the books?
And also bring you more money
OK Nina – I'm not sure how you did it, but pretty much every single picture example you included this week gave me life. lol Talk about inspiring. Random question – do you take on clients outside of LA and how does that work? I am in the Bay Area. Appreciate you.
Ive been watching your videos for a few wks and Ty for the reminder to subscribe!
Love your draperies and the color. Is the color blush?
Without a consolation, I’m hoping you’ll answer a couple of my many questions.
one question:

would you, or should you use a circular type sofa in a rectangular room?
My instinct is yes, because it will soften the edges. See! I’m learning. Maybe?
I agree with you on not having to be symmetric.
Second question:
About layers, would dare put a rug on top of a low wool pile carpet in a bedroom? Or living room?
That yellow upholstered bed paired with travertine side table is absolutely chic.
Hi! May I know where the round vase on your coffee table is from?
Brilliant! Thank you for the amazing pictures too!
