There is almost certainly a cost or downside to enabling some of these features, because if they were always beneficial to all users without any downside, they'd likely already be enabled by default. How, for example, could faster closing of tabs (4:00) not be a good thing? But there was some reason they didn't enable it by default. Another example: at 2:40 you say to select "4" but give no reason why you didn't choose any of the others. If 4 were right for everyone, it would have been selected by default.
That said, some of them don't turn up in a search for me, and some seem to have already been enabled by default. It may be because the video is three years old as of my comment date, and/or because I use Chromium, not Chrome. But for any future video you might do on these experimental features, it would be useful to mention the potential costs of enabling each one. I realize they can be turned off if the user isn't happy, but a user wouldn't always know what's going on under the radar.
Hey man can you help me. ZERO info online to an insanely annoying new chrome desktop feature where everytime I search, google auto scrolls down to the new feature that is a pop up that says "Show more like this" beside the 3 dot "about this result" Beta thing beside each search. Show more like this new feature is beside the 3 dot feature on everysingle result. i know its function but how can i stop it from auto scrolling every single thing i search on google, its insane!
Why i can't find this features ??

Thanks Mr Gumbo, Are all that fuctions available in the Chromium Browser ? For example to use it in Linux since some Distros now comes with Chromium by default.

I followed along with your video. I'm sure it was wonderful in 2018. But today, most of the features you discussed have been removed or are built into Chrome now. 2/3 of the way through there were just one or two that were still active. How about an update. Is there an update tool for tab audio muting? That was a great feature but it's been removed about a year ago and I can't find anything more on it.

Most of the flags are enabled by default in Firefox
i use opera mostly and many of those features are default in opera… so why bother
What version of chrome are you using on this vídeo? Mine doesn't have the tab áudio muting IU control! The speakericon appears but clcking on it does nothing and the right click menu shows no muting tab option.
