Hi there, I had been using Templates back in VS 2010 when I as a n00b didn't have any experience in Git and other source code versioning tools.
So, I had been "abusing" Visual Studio's Templates back then to create Version numbers of my C# scripts.
Now, 10 years later, and gotten more familiar with GIT, I am wondering what the original purpose of VS Templates has been in the first place? Is this a way to create some generic programs from the same code base, but with minor differences? Or is it really meant as a bad-practice versioning for "dummies" to lower the entry-level for coding?
I got stuck in selecting tamplate not getting that particular option, after searching many video finally got this ur video, and made my work done. Thank you
I am still waiting for the VS19 to finish the fix. But your video lifted a weight from my shoulder, thank you!
