After having failed a sub 1hr 9K in an aquathlon in preparation for a triathlon, I'm adjusting and wanting to try to challenge a sub 25 5k, as I can already do a 30min 5K as a tempo workout with rest inbetween, I'll be doing this by the end of July, will follow this training plan (adjust a bit to fit with my studies and other life commitments), and update when I do my TT. Thanks for the video!

  2. Hi @Coach Jason at Running Secrets. Great 5km videos with all the milestone times. I wish you had a similar series and training plan for the 10k, half marathon and marathon with all the milestone times and paces to hit in training. Anyways I hope you are doing well.

  3. I don´t have any plan. I just run and sub 25 is easy for me. I guess it is genetics. I am 49 years old. 187 cm tall and between 85 and 87 kilos and I can run quite easily under 25 minutes even though i sleep shit, eat shit and drink shit. I run about 15-20 km every week and I have done it since two months back. I had a break for two months due to Covid-19 but nevertheless I guess I am just a lucky man. 🙂 But I realize that most people can not have the strategy that I have and I realize that I am in a minority.

  4. Hi coach Jason. I am 56 years old man. I weigh 115 pounds and I can do 5K in 25 minutes. I've never run before. I would be happy to know from experts how well I am doing it. I have achieved it in a few months by managing my respiratory rate. I think that could be part of the key. In addition, I usually drink red wine every night. What do you think?
