Sean – The Youtube Scientist 😛
I love your YouTube channel
How do you find avpv in analytics??
As always, very informative… ❤️
My average view duration is 8 minutes out of 15 minutes (54-58%), but my channel is doing very very bad. Sometimes my click through rate is 10% on the 3rd day and yet I am getting less than 400 views in a week going on like this in the last 6-8 months. I am about to give up.
I started my first page 8 years ago as a car channel! After a year I abandoned the channel and didn’t log in for 7 years after!
Instead of starting a new page 7 years later i just started new content on that same page! Coming back half my subs were gone!
Now what should be popular content the page is moving far slower than before!
What’s going on here?
Did i make a mistake not just starting a new channel?
Or is it i’m not dedicated enough to blow up!
Thanks so much for your time! Chris
I found the best length for my channel is approximately 8-12 minutes for a video. I have lots of success with 1 min videos but they don’t generate a lot of hours watched. However they do drive recommendations
Thanks for sharing. 💖
Discovering think media podcast is the best , learning alot of things I didn't know
Another great video! Now, I need to get to work! Content, Content, Content, and Editing!
I'm trying to improve on the last tip. Thanks to all your content, I feel I finally have search traffic consistently. But return viewers will take additional work 🤔
thanks think media team for all that you are doing !
What about thumbs up? I heard somebody say it’s more important than subscribing
Lol “ we don’t have anything to prove to anybody. Let’s just give this one up and not finish the movie” oh my God I have had to do that a couple times. As you get older, your time is just so valuable haha
When I adopted the mindset of trimming the fat, I think I got a little Obsessive. Would anyone mind taking a look at my last product video or so and letting me know if it’s way too choppy? I get really worried I will take too long on parts, so I end up making the video very fast paced woops LOL. I think the whole TickTock culture is rubbing off on me
In terms of videogame videos, I can't really provide much content in a shorter video. Typically my videos are anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. These bring in an AVD of about 20 to 40 minutes. I've been experimenting with some shorter gameplays that are about 10 – 20 minutes in length and haven't noticed a difference in APV, yet. I've got over 5k views but the majority of these views are from people not subscribed. Finding that balance is where I'm struggling and figuring this out is my new test. Thank you for all of the information you've provided!
