Are you looking at how to Speed Up WordPress with Plugins?
In this video, I’ll show you how to increase your Page Speed score for it to hit 80+! By using W3 Total Cache Plugin and reSmush.it image optimization plugin.
Google PageSpeed Insights:
W3 Total Cache:
reSmush.it:
More info about Cache:
According to Google if your site loads longer than 3 seconds on mobile, 53% of the users will abandon the site.
So make sure your website loads fast!
BACKUP BEFORE YOU START
Please make sure you have backed up everything. It only takes few minutes and it will save you a lot of work if something goes wrong.
When I was trying different plugins, my website broke down. And I had to debug it. So be safe kids, use a backup. If you need a backup click on the link that will appear on your screen now.
I will show you how I went from a PageSpeed score of 50 on mobile and 69 on desktop to 82 and 88.

My website setup & recommendations:
We will cover following topics:
1. Installation of W3 Total Cache WordPress plugin to speed up your website
In summary, cache is away to store your website without always needing to call the server.
2. Configure all recommended settings for W3 Total Cache Plugin
Just so you can utilize all the functionalities.
3. Install reSmush.it an image compression WordPress plugin
This plugin compressed my 173kb image into only 38kb.
That’s huge reduction! And when you have multiple images, they all add up.
At this point, for me to get closer to a score of a 100, I would need to setup up CDN and get more powerful servers, as right now, I’m using shared hosting.
Why speed up WordPress?
I just want to mention that page speed is a Google ranking factor. As it is stated on some of the SEO authority sites like Backlinko and MOZ. Now it’s not like you get points for faster site, but if it is not fast enough then you might penalized for it, with lower ranking.
lol
Great video
Interesting and funny tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Very good videos! Thanks for sharing! Regards from Chile.
Image opt plugin's should not be needed, as you should be resizing & compressing them long before the site goes live. That said Cloudflare's cache + added security is a must for every site!
Your videos are so awesome and funny! Well done!

There are a few plugins (w3 Total Cache, is included) in this page that say they are “Not Available (?)” and when I hover over the question mark it says “This plugin is not allowed on our system due to performance, security, or compatibility concerns. Please contact support with any questions.”
