A realistic look at the growth of a small tech channel on YouTube in 12 months, including some analytics, revenue figures, and future projections.
Who would believe it’s only been 12 months? In this video I share how my channel has progressed in the last year, including two months of RPM data since becoming monetized, and what my plans are for the year ahead.

This video aged well! 🎉
I recently discovered your channel. Your video "to kill a console" is definitely a master piece
I've honestly been curious about analytics. You've done great in a year and I found you yesterday. I'm sure you'll get stable on this soon. Doing this for a living can be overrated, but you seem to have found your niche. Keep coming up with good ideas and you'll be springboarded in no time.
Do the game developers give you trouble for monetizing videos with their games?
CPU videos any?
Can't believe I missed this channel.. until you mentioned it's only been one year since you started
Youtube suddenly put one of your videos in my recommended list, and I'm now on my 3rd video as I binge your past content. It nice to suddenly discover a great new tech content creator.
Loved the GPU Tier list, and its a shame the budget builds are going away, but appreciate that you can't do everything with all the new contents you plan to do. Also the main component that people want to know about is the GPU, so I look forward to the GTX 970 (?) review, its one of my favourite budget GPUs at the moment.
I'm always impressed and entertained by your videos. It always comes as a shock to me when I realise you're such a small channel. I love what you're doing with the channel and I appreciate the transparency you show toward your audience. I believe one day you will look back on this video and smile because you never let up.
Omg burg i can't believe you have less then 2k subs. You deserve 1mil. Keep up the great work my friend and thanks for all the amazing content
Edit: i know exactly what card you'll be reviewing next and I'm so excited for it!
I KNOW what GPU is coming up, huge hint: 3.5GB of “quick” VRAM
F to the reasonable gaming pc
Continue in the same way and the audience numbers will rise, I have no doubts this will happen for you eventually. In any case, I'll keep watching. Thank you for your work!
Please don't give up, I am just waiting until you blow up, just a matter of time.
I was honestly surprised to learn just how small and how new this channel is, I’d never have guessed it by the quality of your videos. I’ve enjoyed enough of your videos long enough, it’s time I stopped holding out, today I’m subscribing. Howdy all the way from Texas, I can’t wait to see where this channel goes and how big it grows. Your hard work deserves all the success you can find.
congrats to u,we hv almost the same subcount..too bad,i got out of ideas and my day to day work is getting busier..hopefully i get the same spirit like u do to make contents again
You deserve way more views and subs, but I also enjoy smaller community channels that have good vibes and great videos
GTX 970
Congrats on 1 year time past by so fast but still on scapler pandemic. Anyways, more years to come and I always enjoy your content.
Love the videos iceberg! Take a break if you feel like it! YouTube can be kinda stressful sometimes.
Remeber when i found your channel and was amazed with the quality of your videos compared to your size. Really like what your doing:)
love the vids
Soon as I heard "legal trouble" I knew it was the 970
I’m so happy that I have found this channel! Great content and you deserve so many more stubs it’s insane!
Love your videos and the high production level, keep plugging away you'll get there soon!
I loved the video essay on the console killer so much as it was so relatable in the current scalper pandemic we are in. It's a shame that it didn't take off. Maybe one day when we will see more of them once the channel grows bigger!
F for RPGPC
GTX 970 at the end??
GTX 970?
That's going to be the GTX 970 then lol
And longer videos too !
You're spoiling us 🙂

The fact that you publish exactly the time i start driving home from work after night shift is just chef's kiss
