I know, I know- the background looks like a stock Zoom background with me floating in front of it.

Need help I got a pc ps5 and my phone plus my twins phone tablet TV what's the best plan for us
Very helpful, very good video. Thank you very much
Explain it well. I am supposed to have 500 from Frontier but I think I only get 5Mbps. For the last 30 years. I am sick of Frontier frustration. Now they raise the bill again. I will be changing internet providers next week 02/24🎉. I have only two choices Frontier or Spectrum. Frontier there's no one to talk to just Bots. Spectrum customer service is always there. I think I over purchased my package of a 1000Mbps not understanding and thinking I needed after years of frustration. Trying to exit Frontier will be another challenge🙏
I have 39mbps and pay £23.90 a month somehow it’s very quick even when I’m gaming on ps5 ,used on laptops and tablets
Great vid still in 2023
I'm on tiktok on my phone, Crunchyroll on my TV, and playing Elden Ring while wathcing Elden Ring players via Twitch on my PC. My wife is on Facebook while watching Netflix and my son is playing Fortnite on his Switch while playing music on the Alexa. Which plan makes the most sense for us?
In Canada a 50mb plan cost 80 dollars and then 20 dollars on top of that for the unlimited data so no data caps. Comes in about 120 dollars after taxes so it’s not cheap here. With DSL we can get plans at 15mb 25mb 50mb 75mb and 150mb if you go fibre you can get 250mb to 3gb and you’ll be paying an arm and a leg for that. Oh and by the way Cable is slower than DSL. Cable is shared with the whole block of homes so at peak hours your internet can slow drastically. DSL is a phone line connection and it is not shared so you’ll never lose your speed but will pay more.
I have 3Gbps up/down streaming is very smooth
Someone speaking sense! My provider constantly tries to upsell me from 250 fibre to 1000gbps. I just dont see how on earth i could possibly need more than 250! My partner streams netfix at 1080p. I game a bit and stream YouTube 1440p. I feel like 250 is already over kill. Im currently in the market for a mesh setup for better range but honestly we already get 180-200 untill it drops off at the far corner of one work desk. So many videos obsessing over 2400gbps. I just dont understand how any normal person could use 1/10th of that… hence how i found your video to make sure I'm not crazy 😉
Good video…..we have reliable internet at 300mbps. That’s plenty fast and actually overkill for our use….but that’s the lowest speed available at the cable company named Optimum. We also have two AT&T 5g unlimited hotspots that pull in 25mbps all the way to 265mbps depending on the location. I actually prefer the hotspots as they have proven to be extremely reliable, Mobile internet, and use as backup internet at home.
I have had the 1 GB service from Comcast and now have the Verizon 4G LTE Home Service. It is capped at 50 mbps and we have had no issues with the speed. We stream with two Roku Ultra devices, an android box, a music streamer, quite a few devices using the network along with a VOIP setup for a land line. No gaming, but it easily handles the grand kids and their games when they come over. Best part about the Verizon service, it never goes down like Comcast did. It has ran 24/7 since I installed the box, that was well over two years ago. And it is only $50 a month, no contract.
I have Comcast 250 mbps for 82.00 a month household of 3. I play games ps4 , and downloaded music ,….. is it a good plan or am i overpaying? Awesome video btw , i learned something today👍
I've definitely been overpaying. I'm moving and realized I do not need the expensive 1 Gig plan I've had. But like you said, they are giving me a hard time to downgrade on the transfer to the new place. For someone living alone, even working from home, 200-300 Mbps is more than enough. My bill will go down in half. Great video! Very informative.
Thanks from B.C. Canada. That was great explanation.
Please do a video on cell phone if network is poor in your area.
I live in Victoria BC Canada. I have had a cell pohone since 1990, no issues at all with network. 5 years ago i moved within Greater Victoria, im right by the ocean with very poor cell network. I have tried several different providers, same problem. I have ocean on one side, and heavily treed back yard.
Even the cell phone singnal booster doesn't work as well.
90% of the time my cell connection is poor.
Great info, than you
Who knew picking out internet providers was so stressful. I’m currently moving and I currently have Century Link and I have a 940 MBPS plan, but my new address doesn’t support that same service. This made it easier, thanks!
Thanks mate, you just saved me $30 a month, cool
How bout passive things like google lights and google home
honestly you can keep jumping back and forth in promotions as long as you read the fine print of the cable providers. Most providers state you can't be put into another promotion after 1 to 2 years after a cancellation of services…at that point your qualified for a reset of your promotion. Essentially you can jump and bounce around from promotion to promotion. Just make sure you read your tos and don't try to sign up to early… you might be put into what they call rack rate, which it at regular price… as someoone who worked in cable briefly use this to your advantage. 🙂
Thank you so much for this info!!!
Very good information young man much appreciated absolutely! 💯💢
You should seriously considered doing explanation videos for other topics. You have a knack for explaining in simples terms while getting your point across. Keep up the work!
Thank you the Intel. Much appreciated.
Hi, Kev😊 Please Respond:
I'm cutting the cord with cable (I know I'm late😂) but I'm staying with xfinity internet.
At most, I have about 3 devices running at any given moment in my home. For the most part, all we do is watch YouTube videos, browse the internet, and social media apps.
If I plan to use an xfinity gateway (whole-home wifi coverage), should I go with 50mgbs, 100mgbs, or 300mgbs?
Thank you so much for the explanation! I was what you would call illiterate on this subject and I feel I have some basic knowledge now. Thanks!
Very helpful. Thanks a lot.
