You said that when you upload your website to the server, you should use the cdn, and only use local css files for debugging… I think you have it backwards?
When you upload your website to the server, it should be able to access the .css files locally. The purpose of the cdn is just to get started with development quicker, but it slows down the site a tiny bit because it's making a request to a different server.
