Nice but it takes more cost
how the fuck does a led bulb provide Internet what is inside the led a modem a reciver what. ???? ??????????
Can't we add the lifi system in all our electronic devices' screens… For example, when you start your computer up, the light it emits could provide Internet… Peace
Can Li-Fi speed up the web?
Why would you need the limits of a web when everybody can route traffics for everybody in a multi-layered webs?
REAL GREAT WORK PROFESSOR .
THE WORLD THANX U
Watched his TED talk and it seems like the normal light does not interfere with Li-fi. Also, the receiver is external, it does not have to be built into your device. The first product pureLiFi is already out. It's a brilliant idea that could possibly change many other areas like urban, industrial design etc. I do agree that the biggest problem is that it's so easy to block the light but I'm pretty sure product design can resolve that. Another issue I have with this is the overall product design. The receiver has been scaled down in size but I don't think many will enjoy having it as an external device especially for portable smartphones (extra cost, portable but still inconvenient in other ways, design not matching current device). But again, it seems like he accepted that Li-fi should coexist with Wifi. So perhaps portable devices go better with Wifi, 4G networks while devices like laptops, computers can be connected with the receivers (think external hard disk). Overall, it's ingenious and I'm really glad to have came across his TED talk.
Espero que florezca pronto esta tecnología!
Pros:
– faster internet connection by 250 times
– secure. Neighbours can't hack
– available everywhere in the future (if released world wide)
Cons:
– easy to block internet connection. (e.g. your shadow blocks your connection from a street lamp [also in the future]).
"In the future we will access the internet at the speed of light"
We already do that, it is called fiber optic cabling, it has been around since the 70s. I love how the future has been here for some time yet people are still amazed by technologies that they have never heard about.
now i got new idea to block the connection LOL just like how i block my neighbours tv remote
Won't light have a slow connection during day time??
If you don't fully understand the potential of some invention it is not necessarily useless…
ou se situe lifi dans modele OSI
meaningfully useless..
The inventor is an idiot dick, we must place the receiver in front of the transmitter other wise we cannot have the signal, in addition any obstacle between E/R can cause interruption pffffffffff what an invention……….useless
Gotta love white americans and germans. Good luck
That's cool…
