My name is WesTheTech and I’m a music producer and recording artist who owns his own music business and recording studio. I am an expert at making hip-hop music as well as running a successful full-time business. Have you ever dreamed about doing music full-time? What’s stopping you? Is it that day job you have? Is it those endless bills? Or maybe you just don’t know how to make that dream become a reality?
I completely understand. I had those same problems as well. Back in 2011, my first independent music career failed. All I wanted to do was music full-time, but I didn’t know how to successfully accomplish that. Like most unsuccessful artists, I went back to working a regular job. After years of working at that job, I realized through God’s teachings, that the reason I wasn’t doing music full-time was because I wasn’t working towards that goal every day.
I realized that there were not going to be any shortcuts to this. I needed to figure out how to (1) make more money “legally” and (2) invest money in the RIGHT places so that I could successfully build an independent music business from the ground up. After a few years of figuring those things out, I was able to quit my job and do music full-time.
And now I want to show you how to do the same thing. And that’s why I created WesTheTech Productions, a company that empowers independent recording artists to build a full-time music business so they no longer have to work outside of their craft.
Finally, you’ll be able to quit your job. Finally, you’ll be able to wake up every day and do music full-time. Finally, you’ll be able to travel and perform at events. Finally, you will have your own independent music business.
If you’re local to South Florida keep The House in mind for your home for recording! For more info on the studio click here⬇️⬇️

Thank you for watching this weeks TechTip video!! Please let me know what music industry tip you would like to see next!!
Very cool, thanks for sharing 🙏
Hi ive uploaded 3 videos in the last 6 months through DistroKid, but still my OAC says i got 0 videos (it does show them on my channel).
it wont show it on the Content tab on Youtube Studio but will show their Analytics.
any clue?
I appreciate this
So it means if my channel is official is now linked to Distrokid generated for you
please explain this to me… I've been a member of distrokid for 2 years and everything is great, but why don't I have a sign next to my name on youtube anymore to show that I have an artist channel? it disappeared .. and it says that my channel is connected
So .. after I “linked” my OAC to distro kid I went back to check it bc it made no difference & now it’s saying I’ve already made one does this mean it’s in the process of switching my music over from the topic chanell to my OAC?

Subscribed to you bruv you're very helpful, thank you so much!🙏🏼
Please, My Artist channel is displaying another person's name. What can i do?
Thanks man can’t wait to do this 🙏🏾
Youtube isn’t accepting artist channel request at this time.. is that normal?
Thank you Your videos are valuable, I learn a lot from them,I subscribed to your channel.
Thank you this was perfect 🤗 first video I watched told me nothing I needed to know lol
You the goat bro, wasted about 30 mins on other videos trying to figure it out haha. Should've known to explore the distrokid page !! Thank you, God bless.
Hello Sir
I distribute music through Distrokid. Why do I get a message like this when I go to claim my YouTube Artist Channel through DK?
"YouTube Official Artist Channel requests are temporarily disabled. Our engineers are working with YouTube to bring it back soon. Please check back in a bit!"
I went through Distrokid and submitted for my official artist channel. What I got was a topic channel with only my music not any of my videos., plus I can't edit or upload anything.
I now have 3 channels, totally confused. My channel with my videos looks like an artist channel I can upload and edit. I don't know how to up load my youtube music from my
topic channel to the channel with my music videos. Not sure how to move forward!
So do you get paid by YouTube now that distrokid would have certified you as a YouTube artist
Question, I have three singles released and DK uploaded them to YT and is a part of the “Rudy G” topic. I recently claimed my artist profile, but YT hasn’t transferred those releases onto my channel. How to do fix this? Thanks!
I already got mine but how do I make it where if someone where to click on a track, they would go to this account and not the topic channel
