What if I just want a Modem Router Combo? Which would you recommend?
Another trick is to change your wifi channel to 1, 6, and 11, change your bandwidth to Auto to 20 MHz, change your wireless mode from 11b/g/n to 11n only and last step is to reboot your router I did this trick and it makes my wifi 2x faster

5 euro every month for security options , even though you are going to use that you never know when they are going to stop doing that not my cup of tea.
Anti consumers product pity seemed like something at first I could even buy the bigger brother for 75 euro but when this knew never mind.
Also, faster internet in the Netherlands is way too expensive most expensive country in Europe.

Using a SHUB 2 – and resisting adding a router as it would mean an extra power brick and not many extra watts but on 24/7
10m cable to the only thing I care about the speed of. I'm putting off asking for an upgrade until it will be something better than the flawed chipset SHUB 3 (and yes, they probably are best run in modem mode)
My WIFI is supposed to be 500 mps but it only runs 100 mps — and this is using CABLE, and wifi is about 30 mps. I had 50 mps and frankly I can't tell the difference. The only reason why I switched to 500 is an internet offer which will expire in October. If they can't keep me on the bargain end I'll switch internet providers and just reset my cameras. Any kind of router is not going to increase these speeds.
Have GPU question; random Screen flickering, no lines or pixel colors. Instead, when the flickering occurs, it behaves a lot like someone is pressing Alt+Tab while you're working, there is of course no thumbnails of the windows you want to select, but as if the PC has a mind of its own. During the error, I cannot do anything but press CTRL+ALT+DEL to stop the error. As soon as I start using the PC again, the flickering starts at random. any ideas? I thought my on-board graphics was conflicting with my better GPU, so uninstalled it. no change. tested to see if it was my laptop dock. no different. Happens to main laptop monitor and external monitor too. Hope you can help. thanks

Wow! In the US as a connection I get over 494.20 down but only 10.43 up!
I love how he says "rooter" Technically you can't increase the RF output o the router , the output is controlled by the internal processor But that will only get a user more distance not a increase in bandwidth My opinion it's a "router" because you are moving data packets between two different networks either external or internal Route data packets
They should add an easy reset bottom to get a new IP in a more convenient place…
I try doing the manual reset but it doesn't work the same as power on/off does it and they hide it on the worst place possible.
Not that I have that model but seem like a common trending they should try to fix for users with dynamic IP and for those wondering…Is all about preventing a disconnection while playing online as the IP reset every 12-24 hours and better to reset that IP manually before playing an online game to avoid disconnection in the middle of your session, also cache gets clear among others nice things. Another thing I don't get is why they don't add support for Bluetooth connection on this devices, I still don't see what's the issue around saving cost on something so simple.
