The only way to travel at the speed of light is by breaking the laws of physics and if a rocket bends everything a little Infront of it and bends everything much bigger at the back you will break the laws of physics and travel at the speed of light the only problem is energy.
Everything with mass also can't travel at the speed of light but, things without mass always travel at the speed of light like photons which is a massless particle.
To all those Wondering about the debris, warp travel would be the same as entering a tunnel on a mountain, the mountain would be the universe that would mean that you're bending the space and wouldn't actually directly interact with the stuff in space like debris, meteors and other stuff, you would actually travel in a tunnel in space tunnel made by you and that would also be faster than light.
