Hey! I’ve got a bit of a ‘choosing your niche’ theme going on here, so I thought I’d make a video with 25 niche ideas. A ‘niche’ is just a topic / subject to make videos about on youtube – as I’m sure you’ll realise after watching the video.
This is more about getting you thinking / considering niches that are outside of the few topics or categories on youtube that you’ve exposed yourself to.
It’s so easy (trust me – I’ve done it) to fall in to a making a certain type of video in a certain youtube niche because it’s the only niche you really have been exposed to as a ‘viewer’ – but there’s SO much out there. So I’m hoping this video might be an eye opener for some and give inspiration to those of you still in the process of picking a topic to make videos about on youtube! 🙂 xoxo

Love your channels! I have been listening to them a lot recently as I'm a new subscriber. Very helpful and interesting. Learning a lot. Thank you for sharing. I have a question.. I'm trying to add focus to my channel. I've practiced doing Youtube for about a year and a half and have learned super basics of video editing and filming. I have a long way to go. Right now, I'm trying to decide which niche to choose. Some of them are so vastly different that I'm wondering if I should have multiple channels or have categorized playlists that act as channels all within the same one. If I did multiple channels, I could literally have like 15 lol! What do you suggest? I really do have a lot of interests and hobbies and want to share all of them so its very difficult narrowing down.

You don't have to listen to this video at all. Just do what you love and follow YouTube's guidelines.
These are great ideas, but dobt you already have to know how to do those things before you can teach others? I dont know enough about any specific fielss to target.

Thanks for your videos. I have a question regarding niche channel. I have a niche channel. My channel is about Gamification (the use of game mechanisms in non-game context). So I have no competition about this topics on Youtube. And the target viewer is quiet big as gamification can be used everywhere (work, sport, on the steet, at home…) But I have issue to develop my channel as it is maybe too niche… Any advice ?
