This is a great tutorial! I struggled with the safe zone, but now after watching this my banner looks great!
my personal experience is that it has to be 2048×1152 and 6mb or less as stated on my page just look out for that as it will catch you out

Help…… I followed along to create a Banner for my YouTube channel, but when I tried to upload it, YouTube said it was too large…… 15.5MB's to be exact, and YouTube has a 6MB limit…..???
When I went to upload my banner from Snappa it said it could not upload I need to change the size to 98 by 98 or 4 MB. How do I fix this?

this doesn't allow you to manually resize uploaded photos, Youtubes scale size cuts off alot of the pic. have they changed it? i had a banner on there but i needed to remove something on it. so i changed it then put banner back and now it cuts off almost all off it. with the 2560px × 1440px scale
