That last one with the designer, there was too much to read and not enough of her finished work to know her taste.
I was always teach that the website should not take away from the content and i feel some of those websites take away from the content. The Gretha one was simply mind blowing.. i would not even know how to design something like that. Its a fine line between the site being to busy and nothing happening.

More like 5 websites with absolutely annoying UI. Just because you can do something it doesn't mean you should. Most of my clients find these kinds of websites absolute turnoffs. Maybe if you want to have a "look what I can do!" portfolio project…ok.

These websites are at best ok from a technical point of view. Nice eye-candy. But from what a website should be for they are the worst one can find. Completely unusable.
super confused on how these websites can do this. I'm a 3d designer and currently have a job to design animation for a site, but i'm unable to find a format with this quality that's compatible with web. My .MOV files are MASSIVE, and if i convert to a .GIF or webm it's either still huge or the quality is destroyed completely.
Is this all through html/code, or am i missing something??
