The 4 channel X-E oscilloscope family from SIGLENT has just received an updated web browser that improves the web update rate dramatically. It’s practically real time!
Additional features include saving display images and binary data files remotely using nothing but a LAN connection, X-E scope, and a web browser.
The current webserver feature is quite broken. It displays the screen nicely, but any attempt to view or use the controls via the browser is unusable.
It either doesn't display them at all, zooms into the screen so much that you can't use it, or (at best) opens the controls and adds a scrollbar to the display so you can scroll across and see some, but not all of the controls. This is buggy in both Chrome and Firefox.
This is a real pain, as this feature is perfect for presentations, but it's not possible to demonstrate using the controls.
Is there any plan to fix this?
I have a new SDS 1104X-E with the 6.1.37R9 s/w update (which I installed) on 09-06 h/w, and with a LAN cable connection to a PC I get the indication from the lights next to the LAN connector and from the screen menu icon that a LAN connection has been found, however when I press the "Net Interface" button I get the response "Wireless adapter not detected!" as though no cable is attached, which is confirmed when I press the DHCP button since it says it's "Getting the IP address, please wait" for about 7 seconds, much longer than when no cable is connected (about 1 second), but the DHCP remains disabled. And as expected no Web Server or TELNET connections can be made. Is this faulty h/w, or perhaps just a bug in the most recent s/w update (i.e. should we revert to a previous revision)? Thanks.
Hi. I have an SDS2104X Plus. I can connect to web interface. I can see the scope UI. Keyboard works. But, the mouse doesn't work. Is that normal behaviour or is it just me to have this problem?
hi , would that works also for the SDS1104-U ? i tried and not working
Does the SDS SDS1002X-E have a similar web browser feature?
I'm not having success with this method. Scope came installed with the latest driver. I have NI VISA installed, NI MAX, etc. NI MAX doesn't detect anything. Scope shows ethernet connection icon, IP ping tool (Zenmap) shows the listed IP address, but entering into browser does nothing. Am I missing something?
Is this functionality not supported for SDS1052DL+ ? If so, please let me know so I can return it and purchase a supported device.
Does the SDS 1052DL+ have a similar web browser feature?
Hi, I have a SDS1104X-E. I do SPI decoding, does it great. But is it possible to download the acquired buffer with all signals and decode d info as video or some player to be able to evaluate the recordings at latter time?
fyi: The firmware numbering on the Siglent website currently appears to be missing the 7. It reads 6.1.25R2 instead of 76.1.25R2
On the webpage can you click the alphanumeric keypads/menus with the mouse or do you have to use the knob like on the actual scope? Or can you just type values when keypads or menus areis displayed?
great video!
When can we expect this update for SDS2000x series oscilloscope family?
