[Tin tức] Visualizing video at the speed of light — one trillion frames per second

MIT Media Lab researchers have created a new imaging system that can acquire visual data at a rate of one trillion frames per second. That’s fast enough to produce a slow-motion video of light traveling through objects.

  1. at 17 seconds into the video , he claims that photons travel about 1 million times faster than a bullet, this is factually incorrect. The speed of light is 300,000,000 m/s and a bullet typically 833 m/s so the photons are 3.6 million times faster. Do the math MIT Prof an d don't undersell yourself.

  2. But if you use such a camera to capture a beam of light, and it goes that slow so you can actually see it moving, how is it then possible that this beam emits also light towards the camera in order to be picked up? The light of the beam already has to go inside the camera to get something visible? This is confusing.
