Chevrolet is screwing up by not making their policy crystal clear and not taking care of anyone buying their top of the line very expensive C8, especially someone like Austin who is such an ambassador for the brand. I'm reconsidering my allocation as a result. I can't see spending this kind of money and not being able to get new tires mounted on my carbon fiber wheels, especially when the car is new and I am very likely to burn through tires. They are missing the mark and need to take care of their loyal customers better than this.

This is the typical Way, American car companies always have a scam on their customers, someway shape or form swarms tired of dealing with American companies when it comes to cars , look at all the transmission shovels they have them with these cars. I’m so glad I didn’t purchase one. I’ve had two I had to take back in the past also two Ford mustang. I had to take my 2020 GT Shelby, so these companies are full of it the quality of the vehicles I’m not up to par with the foreign competitors

As a Vette owner and lover, I am appalled that this is happening to you, especially in light of the fact you did an extensive tech video with Tdage J. (Corvette Chief Engineer #5) at launch. Have they forgotten your reach? This comes across as a company having produced a high-end supercar, but offering low-end service. Not good❗️

I also got jacked by GM. An ex 50 year family Chevrolet dealer that prided on Customer satisfaction with a 72% customer retention rate said I’m not playing your capitalist game. Corporate greed is out of control folks. I feel your pain.

Wow! Poor poor customer service. The powers to be seem more willing to punish their customers than dealer who have ridiculous mark-ups of the Stingrays and now the Z06, oh I guess the dealers like punishing their customers also for the sake of making the mighty dollar. Oh, let include the fact of hands off the dealers have by not supporting you in getting new wheels mounted.

Im a Ford Guy and Im open to all brands they have something I like and with that I'd be equally enraged heck I hate the customer treatment Ford puts people through it's a massive shit show. The GM PEOPLE involved in this MAJOR error… are idiots. I mean really… how stupid can they be? First, the stupidity of appealing to an entirely NEW segment of car buyers with the ZO6 but failing to create the correct, equipped and trained service processes… and now pulling some small print bait and switch bullshit… with an up and coming enthusiast youtuber… how much money did these idiots just cost GM? "Reward Points" for any of you answering "MORE" than $5k. I am/was very interested in the new ERay… but ummm… next thing you know they will be hiring some questionable "beer drinking" spokes-"person"

Wow. this is a very bad look for GM/Chevrolet. For a customer like you that really is such a great ambassador of the Corvette brand, the lack of customer support and focus from GM/Chevrolet is truly quite alarming. I guess being "World Class" and/or "Best in Class" is limited to just the Corvette designers and engineers at GM/Chevrolet.
That is absolute BS the way they're handling both the rim situation and the rewards situation. Shame on them, I hope this gets resolved for you and you get your points you deserve. and theyre denying you service like WTF!!

I tried warning you guys when my C8 Z06 took a crap at 52 miles about Chevys 💩 customer service experience but few listened and most put the blame on me. It does not surprise me that Chevy is doing this. Nobody at the dealer told me anything about the rewards when I purchased both my C8 Z06, mind you that I purchased them at separate dealers. The Chevy customer service experience is not up to par with the price tag of the vehicle.
I am not sure about the amount of days you have to claim your points, but my dealer makes sure I claim them before I leave that day with the vehicle
Chevrolet sucks and so is it's management team, both high and low

My thoughts in a nut shell. FUCK GENERAL MOTORS! If they ever, ever ask for a bail out, they can get on their corporate knees and kiss the American public's individual asses. And they wonder why they can't sell cars with this type of customer loyalty. Screwing over a Corvette owner who buys a Z06, is a YouTube content creator, has got to be the dumbest, fucking move… EVER. Good luck staying in business GM with this mentally. Also, I'm sure you have an attorney, I say take this matter to court. Video document the whole ordeal so the rest of the buying public can see how GM treats a customer who spends this amount of money for their vehicles.

All these issues you are having with GM and dealership experience is the reason I no longer have a corvette. I drove nothing but corvette from 1994-2018. Porsche and other brands have much better dealership experience and brand loyalty benefits. The corvette is an unbelievable car, but I don't like being treated like I just bought a Malibu. Cadillac surprisingly has probably the best dealership service experience in GM brands but that's not right and still not near as good as even Lexus service LOL.
Why am I not surprised given the C7 wide-body cracked wheels (Tadge says it is the driver's fault for hitting pot holes), the C7 A8 issues, C8 DCT issues, C8 Z06 engine issues, and the C8 Z06 carbon wheels!! Sort of reminds me of "Animal House" and the 'double-secret probation' the Dean put the fraternity under – way to go GM – we see your true colors once again. 🤨
Avid corvette collector here, and through the years I’ve watched GM turn into government motors. Hard pill to swallow when you know it’s not the car but rather the narcissist making policies.

TY for the info. I too was screwed by GM, had the severe transmission shudder issue on a C7, under the 3 year warranty. They did not fix but offered to take it in on trade on a new C7 but gave me a low trade value bcuz it was defective and wanted to charge full MSRP on the new model. Be forewarned, they are deceptive and evil, no more GM.
Next time, buy a Ferrari instead of a cheap knock-off…

As a C8 owner I find this appalling. If GM is going to sell cars in this class they need to step up their customer service game.
When you deal with a new car stealer they do everything they can to rip you off and the manufacturer also
